Dorothy Lane Manicardi 25 -Year Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP
The Manicardi family in Modena have been making DOP balsamic vinegar for decades. With the leadership of Maria Livia Manicardi, this extra vecchio balsamic has been under her personal care for at least 25 years as it aged slowly in the battery of barrels on their property. We recently had the opportunity to visit the vineyard and beautiful estate where this culinary treasure is crafted. Rich with notes of notes of chestnut, cherry, mulberry, juniper, oak, we like to serve this balsamic with Parmigiano-Reggiano, strawberries, or roasted meats.
