This Alexander Valley Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from Baron Herzog is a luxurious, kosher wine. Dark garnet in color, it displays ripe blackberries, cherries, black currant, star anise, and pipe tobacco on the nose. It's full-bodied and silky, with layers of black forest fruits, licorice, black pepper, and roasted espresso beans. With medium acidity and chewy tannins, this wine features a long and elegant finish. Because it's kosher, this wine would make a great choice for Passover.
