American Bison, North America's only native bovine species, have been the heart of Whitefeather Meats since the Perkins family founded Whitefeather Bison Company in 1987. This led to our purchase of the Butcher Shop in 1994, which became Whitefeather Meats. Since our beginning, we’ve raised bison, butchered meat, and developed recipes - ultimately creating The Bearded Butchers, along with launching our seasoning business, established in 2010.
